Abstract / Description

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMKam) play an important role in improving local economic development through the utilization of village resources. However, BUMKam Hebeybhulu in Yoka Village faces several challenges, including weak business management, the absence of structured financial bookkeeping, limited marketing, and inactive business operations due to funding constraints. This community service program aimed to improve the capacity of BUMKam administrators through business management, digital marketing, and simple financial bookkeeping training. The program consisted of a preparation stage, including observation, interviews, documentation, and preparation of training materials and bookkeeping modules, followed by an implementation stage involving pre-tests, training sessions, practical use of the PPAK STAN BUMDes Microsoft Excel application, manual bookkeeping practice, and post-tests. The results showed improved participants' understanding of business planning, local resource utilization, pricing strategies, digital marketing, and proper financial recordkeeping. The program also produced an official social media account and an identity signboard to strengthen BUMKam's institutional capacity. This activity is expected to support more professional and sustainable management of BUMKam.
