Abstract / Description
This introductory review, authored by independent student Attaullah Mari, explores the human cell as a dynamic and coordinated system. The paper describes common features shared by most human cells, including the plasma membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, lysosomes, peroxisomes, and cytoskeleton. Special focus is given to how these organelles interact to maintain exchange, protein production, energy conversion, and homeostasis. The review is based on established textbooks like Molecular Biology of the Cell by Alberts et al. and OpenStax Biology 2e, and is intended as a learning resource for students entering cell biology, biotechnology, and biochemistry. It does not contain original experimental data and is not presented as a peer-reviewed systematic review.
