Abstract / Description
The primary Indian technical textiles industry concern is to keep market responsiveness and attain operational efficiency, which will rank as a $22 billion business in 2024 ( Grand View Research, 2024 ). The study suggests the implementation of lean-agile enabled supply chain framework as part of the artificial intelligence that has been combined with hybrid lean-agile manufacturing to improve the competitive advantage of Indian technical textile-based manufacturing companies. This study conducted through theoretical synthesis of the Resource-Based View theory, Dynamic Capabilities framework, and supply chain innovation theory illustrates that a variety of AI technologies, such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and real-time optimization, enable lean efficiency targets as well as the agile responsiveness objectives to be met in parallel. The framework determines that there are four essential AI-enabled capabilities which include intelligent demand forecasting, adaptive inventory optimization, predictive quality management and dynamic supplier collaboration. According to synthesized research, organizations applying such AI-driven models demonstrate significant performance gains, including up to 87% forecasting accuracy , 93.45% defect detection rates , 65% faster disruption response times , and 24.9% reductions in aggregate inventory costs. The proposed model provides both theoretical advancement in understanding AI‘s role in supply chain strategy and practical implementation guidance for technical textile manufacturers seeking digital transformation.
