Embedding ERM

This chapter describes how you can start to integrate enterprise risk management and discussions about risk into regular executive and management meetings, through a top-down, management-driven process. This allows you to demonstrate leadership, maintain an effective risk management culture, and ensure risk management becomes part of your day-to-day activities. Embedding risk management at the executive level in this way is a first step to its wider adoption in the organisation. This chapter is primarily for executive leaders and the chief risk officer, but it also applies to managers in individual business units and projects.
